Molly is a second-year veterinary student at the Atlantic Veterinary College at the University of Prince Edward Island. She graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cellular Developmental Biology and a minor in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. She has spent three years as a small animal technician, in both a general practice setting as well as in small animal surgery. Molly has been an equine technician for the CEC since 2019, except when she’s away at school. Recently Molly has been working on research with Dr. Page at the CEC.
In her free time, she hangs out with her horse Zorro, a half Mustang half Arabian that she helped raise and train along with her grandfather, and together they go on trail-rides at every possible opportunity. She also has a mixed breed dog named Rumi who loves playing frisbee, and a calico cat named “Miss Kitty” who likes to go on walks with her and Rumi. Other favorite pastimes include hiking, biking, playing piano, and reading.
