CEC’s friendly professional staff is available to provide your pet our helping and healing care at your horse’s location or at our clinic, day or night, 365 days a year. Our passion is to nurture the bond of love between people and pets.

The Method

Caring:

We aim to hear with two ears, the problem, then solve the problem. Here, you can expect state-of-the-art medical care for your animals. We believe in nurturing the human-animal bond and creating a harmonious relationship between people and animals. You can expect to be greeted by a courteous receptionist, clean exam rooms, friendly doctors, and caring technicians. We appreciate the role we get to play in your animals’ health care.

Helping:

Our experienced veterinarians take pride in thorough examinations and the desire to find an accurate diagnosis, in turn healing your pet for long-term wellbeing. We are able to do this with the aid of our in-house laboratory and diagnostic tools such as ultrasound and radiograph machines, which means a faster turnaround time on diagnosis, treatment, and ultimately, healing.

Healing:

After a thorough examination and diagnostics, our veterinarians will carefully create the best treatment plan for your pet. These treatment plans may include one or several of our services such as surgery or regenerative medicine, as well as geriatric care or regular wellness

Our story: Colorado Equine Clinic has been providing ambulatory and hospital care for horses and clients since 1988, and small animals since 2019. With dedication coming from our compassion for owners and animals we focus on assisting in healing animals and educating owners.

Research: Colorado Equine Clinic, has partnered with Astaria Global and the International Foundation for Equine Podiatry Research in investigating the use of a very potent anti-inflammatory molecule, A2, in the treatment of laminitis. Results on four horses, 8 feet over Fall 2022, has given these horses much reduction in pain, improved blood flow, and decrease in rotation. I hold Dr. Page and the Colorado Equine Clinic near and dear. They’ve always been there for me, and over the years have worked to keep my dressage gelding healthy and comfortable in his work. After one recent chiropractic session, the chirporactor thought there were issues in my horse’s stifles and hocks. I called Dr. Page immediately and when she looked closely during his exam she made the comment, “I’m not so sure about that.” She further diagnosed my gelding with a problem in his hips, and after on-site radiographs, and on sit injection, I have a much more able and content horse. I have benefited from having my herd as members of Colorado Equine Clinic’s Wellness Program for a few years now. For me, knowing that most maintenance procedures are already paid for is one less thing I need to worry about. CEC sends out shot, fecal check and teeth floating reminders. All I have to do is schedule. Just after renewing our Wellness program for our herd (inclduing our newest member, Ki) we discovered that Ki was suffering from ulcers. I love how much CEC appreciates my desire for professional care and consideration of my horses. One example that comes to mind is when I was having a soundness problem with one of the horses. They would call to check on her status, sometimes the office, but sometimes a vet themselves. The genuine consideration for my horses is quite a benefit in a vet. I find their pricing to be quite reasonable whether it is an office visit or a farm call. Finally, they offer a wellness plan that offers me peace of mind to keep my schedule on track.

Dr. Page is the only vet you need to see for lameness. She is gifted and will tell you exactly what is going on with your horse. She is the only veterinarian I trust. She truly works for the horse and is passionate about her job.

Old Glory Ranch

Dr. Page has gone above and beyond to help me with one of my horse with severe allergies. My gelding has chronic hives, and she was able to do blood allergy testing and prescribbe meds that could help keep him comfortable and prevent the hives outbreaks. The vet techs, front desk reception staff, everyone at Colorado Equine Clinic has been so kind and so helpful and they have excellent communication skills. I think Dr. Page has the best listening skills of all humans I know. I highly recommend her and so grateful for her and her entire staff!

Our horse has been lame on and off for over a year and was getting very little relief with injections and adequan. The owner of the facility our horses are boarded at recommended Dr. Page. We took our horse into see her and she found the problem right away, suggested PRP and after doing the PRP he has been 100% sound. My horse was extremely lame to the point of hopping on three legs when he arrived at Dr. Page’s. She was able to quickly determine it was an abscess and that xrays weren’t necessary, and gave us a simple, effective, and affordable treatment plan. Everything went exactly how she expected with the abscess coming out and quickly being on track for recovery. She was also willing to see him on the weekend despite it being the day of her son’s graduation. Can’t thank her enough!!
